The San Lorenzo Valley, home to the mountain towns of Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Brookdale and Felton, boasts scenic redwood drives, Roaring Camp Railroads and the San Lorenzo River. Big Basin Redwoods State Park, California's oldest state park, offers the largest continuous stand of ancient coastal redwoods south of San Francisco, with hiking, biking and equestrian trails, picnic areas, campgrounds, and 80 miles of trails. Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park contains a centuries-old Redwood Grove and a self-guided nature path. Other attractions of the San Lorenzo Valley include the local wineries, antique stores, and galleries which adorn the quaint communities.
